The Quintet With No Name is an Estonian jazz group, based in Tallinn. Their band performs original compositions as well as good old standards. They play music in two different styles. One style has a more traditional straight-ahead approach and the other style sounds rather nordic and minimalistic. The idea is to mix these two styles together creating contrast between the compositions. As hip and burning bebop lines bring the music to the climax, then northern simple minimalism helps to bring the tension down again.
