Philly Joe’s suve residendiprogramm annab platvormi Eesti noortele tegijatele jazzimaastikul! Uued kooslused, värvikad kavad ja võimalus kuulda jazzi ja selle mõjutustega rütmimuusikat igal kontsertõhtul uuest küljest - seda kõike pakuvad välja valitud artistid nädalast nädalasse terve suve jooksul.
Juulis jagavad residentuuri trummar Henri Paul Pukk ja kitarrist Robin Mäetalu. Nende kooslusi kuuleb kolmapäevadel (02.07, 09.07, 23.07 ja 30.07) ning reedel 18.07.

Henri Paul Pukk on trummar, õpetaja ja ansamblijuht, kes on lõpetanud MUBA löökpillide eriala. Oma trummimänguoskuste ja mitmekülgsuse tõttu on ta hinnatud muusik, kes on teinud koostööd erinevate Eesti kollektiividega (The Swingers, Funcle jt).

The Philly Joe’s Summer Residency programme provides a platform for talented young Estonian artists on the jazz scene! New ensembles, colourful programs and the opportunity to hear jazz and music with its influences from a new perspective on every concert evening - all this is offered by selected artists, week after week throughout the summer.
During July, drummer Henri Paul Pukk and guitarist Robin Mäetalu will be sharing a residency introducing new themes and collaborators each week. Their concerts will take place on Wednesdays (02.07, 09.07, 23.07 ja 30.07) and on Friday 18.07.
“Modern Grooves”
Near Motion moves to a modern groove, mixing elements of hip-hop, R&B and funk music. The band focuses on the magic of the moment where spontaneous improvisation and “mellow” rhythms take listeners on a musical journey. The band’s excellent musical cooperation and dynamic energy create a unique and lively atmosphere on stage! For this concert DJ Lauri Täht will spin just the right records between sets!
Henri Paul Pukk is a drummer, teacher and band leader who graduated from MUBA (Tallinn School of Music & Ballet) with a degree in percussion. Due to his drumming skills and versatility he is a valued musician who has collaborated with various Estonian groups (The Swingers, Funcle, etc.).
